Singapore: Wilhelmsen Ships Service (WSS) has appointed Jason Chin as Ships Agency Service Manager, Singapore.

Chin has over 15 years’ experience in the maritime and shipping industry, and will lead a team carrying out over 3,700 ships agency services every year.

“A port such as Singapore is never closed, and neither are we. Our port agents work in a 24/7/365 operation in every sense of the word,” Chin says.

“In terms of recruitment and training, young Singaporeans are keen to learn the business from the ground up and we are committed to a programme of on the job training and career advancement. My task now is to ensure that we can continue to work with our customers to provide those high levels of service for which we have become known throughout the industry.” [30/10/14]
