Dayang to work on Petronas Carigali project, offshore Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur: Dayang Enterprise has won a RM280m ($80.1m) contract for the provision of major modification work for an offshore oil project for Petronas Carigali, the exploration and production (E&P) subsidiary of Malaysia’s state oil and gas company Petronas.

The work will be conducted at Petronas Carigali’s Bardegg-2 and Baronia EOR development projects in the Baronia oil field, located offshore from Miri, on the northern coast of Sarawak, Malaysia.

The duration of the contract is for approximately 36 months from December 2, 2014, until December 1, 2017, or until work is completed.

The contract was signed on November 26 between Petronas Carigali and Dayang Enterprise, which is a subsidiary of Malaysia-listed Dayang Enterprise Holdings. [15/12/14]
