Lampung FSRU to start operating in July

Jakarta: State-owned gas distributor PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) will start operating its floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) in Lampung in July this year.

“The construction of the receiving terminal’s supporting facilities will be completed in June. After conducting a trial operation, the LNG terminal will be officially operated in July,” PGN vice president for corporate communication Ridha Ababil told reporters during a visit to the facilities, as quoted by Antara.

The Lampung FSRU, operated by Hoegh LNG under a 25-year contract, has a storage capacity of 170,000 cu m.  [13/05/14]
