Kuala Lumpur: The Malaysian government and Omani investors have shown interests to invest in Bangladesh's shipbuilding sector. Delegates from the two countries showed interest in a tripartite meeting held in Dhaka.

Malaysian International Trade and Industry Minister Datusree Mostafa Mohammed said Malaysia is interested to invest in shipbuilding, dredging and refineries considering the bright prospects of the sectors, adding that hopefully the investment will facilitate the growth of industrial sector and employment in Bangladesh.
