Triyards now a challenger in offshore ship repair

Singapore: Offshore fabrication and engineering firm Triyards Holdings Limited has announced its entry into ship repair with its first bit of work for its newly commissioned floating dock, the Lewek Hercules.

Offshore supply vessel Mermaid Challenger is currently undergoing repair and maintenance work in the Triyards floating dock which was converted from a load out barge. Triyards’ ceo, Wong Bheet Huan, said: “Although Southeast Asia is a strong but competitive market for ship repair, we are confident of building a leading position in this area by focusing on repairs of offshore vessels.”

Triyards is 67%-owned by Ezra Holdings.
