Kuala Lumpur: Scomi Energy Services Bhd subsidiary, PT Rig Tenders Indonesia Tbk, has won contract from Coastal Energy Company in Thailand.

The RM22m deal began late last month and is for the provision of a 60 MT bollard pull anchor handling tug and supply vessel for a period of one year with a further one year option.

Somi Energy marine services president, Mukhnizam Mahmud said, “The marine division is now present in the Thailand market and with our proven capability in this sector, we are optimistic of growth potential in the region.”
