Star Cruises orders new ship at Meyer Werft

Kuala Lumpur: Asia’s leading cruise company Star Cruises has placed a contract with German shipbuilder Meyer Werft for a new cruise ship. 

The ship will increase Star Cruises’ fleet to eight ships and boasts a variety of high-end features which are specially designed for the Asian market. The order is still conditional on financing. The 150,000gt cruiseship is scheduled for delivery in fall 2017.
